Last year whilst volunteering at COMI I did a workshop about our favourite foods. The day ended with a few of the residents making Honduran Baleadas for everyone. Delicious!!

Charoleando
Oaxaca, April 2019.
In the Centro de Orientacion al Migrante in Oaxaca de Juarez all the food is donated by shop keepers at the main market, the Central de Abastos. Every Tuesday volunteers, staff and service users each grab a big bag and go get as much food as they can to feed everyone for a week. They call this “charolear”.
